Watch it you must! For the first time ever, fans of the classic sci-fi movie can get a glimpse at outtakes from the original "Star Wars", now known as "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope."

The previously unseen footage includes Peter Chushing (Grand Moff Tarkin to you "Star Wars" fanatics) joking around with Princess Leia (also known as Carrie Fisher).

There's also Harrison Ford swallowing a headset after messing up his lines and Stormtroopers making a comical attempt to get into the detention area where Han, Chewie and Luke are rescuing Princess Leia.

In other "Star Wars" news, Lucasfilm has announced that "Star Wars: Episode VII" director J.J. Abrams and "Raiders of the Lost Ark" writer Lawrence Kasdan have taken over screenwriting duties for the series reboot. They are taking over from Michael Arndt, who had won an Oscar for the screenplay of "Little Miss Sunshine" and was nominated  for "Toy Story 3."

Abrams is credited with the successful reboot of the "Star Trek" series and for the hit TV show "Lost."

"Episode VII" is schedule to be released in 2015, with preliminary shooting to begin next spring.
