Chuck Leavell's role in his first hit record was a 'happy accident'

He told Monica about the 'happy accident' of playing on a hit song at a Muscle Shoals studio, 'Don't Take Her, She's All I've Got' with Freddie North. "And it became a hit. Later on, Johnny Paycheck had a hit as a country version of it, but we had the first hit, and, Freddie was a great singer," Leavell said "and, the record came out and.
