A woman gave police in North Carolina the chase of their lives when she was able to fight off arresting officers and then hop in one of their cruisers and speed off.

An eyewitness was able to catch the crazy incident in Fayetteville, N.C. all on video. Investigators say the 42-year-old woman was armed with a hammer and a pair of scissors when officers approached her. Despite using a Taser on her to subdue her, she still managed to run away, job in their car and drive off.

The woman's escape attempt came to an end when she crashed the police cruiser, creating a four-car accident. Officers eventually had to break the cruiser's window and pull her out of the wreckage.
