Have you dropped your phone on the ground fearing there will be a massive crack on the screen when you pick it up? RhinoShield claims there’s nothing to be afraid of when using its CrashGuard Bumper Case.

Business Insider tested it out, putting an iPhone 7, encased in the product, through the ringer.

First, the iPhone was dropped from pocket height (about 3 feet) with no external damage. Then, it took a dive from 6 feet in the air − still with no visible marks.

Next, it hit the ground from an 11-foot ladder more than five times without a single scratch.

The final plunge was from a 20-foot roof. The result - not even a nick.

Although the phone physically survived falling from varying heights, it started acting wonky about an hour after the experiment.

When it was taken to an Apple store, an employee diagnosed it with “brain trauma,” which couldn’t be repaired in-store.
