A second man shot at an apartment complex on Memorial Drive late Wednesday night has died, Atlanta police said early Thursday.
The shooting happened about 11 p.m. Wednesday at the Arbors of East Atlanta complex in the 1800 block of Memorial Drive, Channel 2 Action News reported.
“One of the subjects was actually shot and killed on the scene,” Atlanta police Capt. Paul Guerrucci told Channel 2.
Two other men were wounded, and taken to local hospitals in critical condition, Atlanta police spokeswoman Kim Jones said, adding that the second man died about 5 a.m. Thursday.
Investigators believe the victims were in the parking lot of the apartments “when two gunmen arrived and subsequently shot all three individuals,” Jones said. “The suspects then ran from the scene.”
