A woman died Wednesday night after a three-vehicle crash on the Downtown Connector, Atlanta police said.

Five officers responded to the crash involving an overturned vehicle about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday near 14th Street, police spokesman Donald Hannah said.

When officers arrived, they found the woman dead in the overturned vehicle, he said. Her name has not been released.

No one else was injured in the crash, which blocked southbound lanes of the Connector until about 1 a.m. Thursday.

“Currently, the cause of the accident is under investigation,” Hannah said.
