Pack a little more patience if you normally take Northside Drive in Sandy Springs.

While crews have repaired a water main break and restored water service to customers after a sinkhole developed in the area, the city said Northside Drive will remain closed through Wednesday.

"Crews were originally dispatched related to a water main break on Monday,"city spokeswoman Sharon Kraun said. "Following the repair of the first leak, several others have occurred."

With Northside Drive south of Crest Valley Drive blocked, traffic is being rerouted to Mount Paran and Jett roads as well as Crest Valley until further notice.
