An accident in south Cobb County early Thursday injured two pedestrians and resulted in at least two other minor crashes, police said.

The accidents happened just before 6:40 a.m. on Mableton Parkway at Boggs Road, Cobb police Sgt. Dana Pierce said. It was not immediately clear how many vehicles were involved in the crashes.

The injured pedestrians were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, he said.

Pierce said their conditions were unknown.
