1 lane reopens after gas leak at Piedmont and Monroe in Atlanta

Feb 4, 2016Officials have reopened one northbound lane of Piedmont Road at Monroe Drive after a gas leak, according to Channel 2 Action News.
However, crews are still blocking Sherwood Drive at Monroe Drive, the television station reported.
A contractor working in the area cut a 4-inch gas line, an Atlanta Gas Light spokeswoman told Channel 2.
Crews are still on the scene.
