All southbound lanes of the Downtown Connector are open after a truck fuel spill shut them down early Thursday, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The spill occurred south of Langford Parkway just before 4:30 a.m., according Channel 2.

Few details were available on what led to the spill.

Lanes reopened just before 5:30 a.m., but delays remained.

Drivers were urged to take I-285 to Camp Creek Parkway as an alternate route to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
