I-20 overpass in Conyers open after mattress fire

Traffic is moving again on the West Avenue bridge over I-20 in Rockdale County, Conyers police said. A mattress fire closed just before 1:40 p.m. Wednesday.

The mattress became stuck under a tractor-trailer at some point Wednesday afternoon, according to a tweet from the agency.

"The fire has been extinguished but it punctured an air line on the tractor," police spokeswoman Kim Lucas said.
"Wrecker should be arriving any moment."
