Crash, downed power lines close Gwinnett road for up to 6 hours

A collision has shut down a major Gwinnett County road and it is expected to stay closed for up to six hours, police said Monday afternoon.
The crash knocked down power lines, shutting down Braselton Highway near Hog Mountain Church Road, Gwinnett police said.

Crews are working to repair the damage.
Storms are forecast to hit the metro area by midnight, roughly when repairs are expected to be complete.
