Crews cleared the scene of a car carrier fire that shut down the I-20 East ramp to I-285 North in Fulton County for nearly three hours early Friday.

The fire started about 4:40 a.m. and was extinguished before 6 a.m., according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.

The ramp reopened about 7:20 a.m.
