TRAFFIC UPDATE: I-85 North in DeKalb reopens after police activity

All northbound lanes of I-85 were temporarily shut down in DeKalb County due to police activity, according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.
DeKalb police confirmed to AJC.com officers responded to the scene near the Chamblee Tucker Road overpass. Traffic was at a standstill south of Chamblee Tucker Road, and delays grew quickly.

Drivers had to take Buford Highway or Dresden Drive as alternates.

All lanes reopened just before 10:30 a.m., according to the Traffic Center.
