Power has been restored to traffic lights and businesses on a stretch of Ga. 138 in Conyers about eight hours after a four-car crash took out a utility pole Wednesday, police confirmed to AJC.com.

Live wires were down, according to an alert. A nearby Chick-fil-A and Intown Suites were affected, police said.

Conyers police spokeswoman Kim Lucas said an SUV turned in front of a tractor-trailer, which then veered to avoid a collision. The tractor-trailer took out the power pole and struck two vehicles in the Chick-fil-A parking lot.

Two people complained of minor injuries, she said.
