The Downtown Connector has reopened after a car fire prompted officials to shut down multiple southbound lanes during the lunch hour.

No one was injured in the incident, which occurred just past 14th Street, Atlanta fire Sgt. Cortez Stafford said.

Details about the fire were not released.
