According to the Georgia State Patrol, a witness told police the woman was driving east when she suddenly lost control of her Toyota RAV4 and slammed into the concrete divider.
The driver was reportedly uninjured in the crash, but the wreck caused heavy delays into downtown for about 45 minutes as crews removed the woman from the wrecked car. All lanes reopened about 12:30 p.m., according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.
