The gun bill: what people are saying about us now
Interesting: Gov. Nathan Deal signs a gun bill, and them there bicoastal media elites commence to shootin'!
Deal put his name on one of the gun-friendliest bills in the nation Wednesday afternoon -- critics called it the "guns everywhere" bill -- enabling gun owners to pack heat in public schools, bars, churches, government buildings. On the New Yorker website, Andy Borowitz blogged about us.
The Timeses -- New York, L.A., etc. -- and even the European press were on Georgia's case about the law even before Deal could put his pen to it. Admittedly, Georgia's case is often eminently get-onnable. But dishing on those "benighted Southerners" seems to be a bit of a reflex.
