Sugar Hill is replacing their annual fall festival for an event they're calling "Sugar Rush" on Saturday, October 17. This year, Sugar Rush will host two-time Grammy award-winning country music artist and Marietta native Travis Tritt.

Tritt is well-known for seven albums and multiple hit songs including "Here's A Quarter," "Anymore," "Can I Trust You with My Heart," "Foolish Pride," and "Best of Intentions." He has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 1992.

Sugar Rush begins at 11 a.m. with music and festivities throughout the entire day. The Bowl will open at 5 p.m. with the concert beginning at 8 p.m. VIP seats for this event were previously sold out, but 80 additional seats have been added and are selling quickly. All VIP tables for this event are sold out. VIP seats are $25.00 and allow ticket-holders to bring a small cooler with food and drinks. VIP seats also allow for optimum viewing for the concert. General Admission for this event is free.

"We look forward to Travis closing out our concert series with a bang at the Bowl. Great things are coming our way in downtown Sugar Hill," said Sugar Hill Mayor Steve Edwards.
