Tea party ideals - if not candidates - fared well in vote

Tea party candidates didn’t fare so well in Tuesday’s elections. Tea party ideals, though, did much better.

The GOP candidates for Georgia’s top offices have embraced many of the movement’s priorities. Gov. Nathan Deal and Senate runoff contenders Rep. Jack Kingston and businessman David Perdue are courting tea party support.
