Thanks to the power of social media, a woman from Pittsburgh was reunited with a wallet she lost back in 1979!
On Wednesday, Pipitone Group, an advertising agency located in Pittsburgh, held its annual community day, performing service at sites near the group's office building.
Participants were planting trees when one of them found an old wallet belonging to a Patricia Crosby.
Inside the wallet was an old VISA Card, a Diners Club Card and a pharmacy card from Thrift Drug, among other items.
The group decided to post information about the wallet and its contents on social media in an effort to find the rightful owner.
Within hours, Crosby was located.
The man who found the wallet said he spoke with Crosby Wednesday night and she recalled losing the wallet in 1979.
