Dunwoody police responded to three crashes on I-285 in a span of about 30 minutes Wednesday morning.

All of the wrecks occurred near Chamblee Dunwoody Road between 6:30 a.m. and 7 a.m., Sgt. Robert Parsons told AJC.com in a statement. It is not clear what led to the crashes. While details about the incidents were not released, Parsons said at least one involved injuries.

The crashes forced authorities to close all westbound lanes of I-285 at times, according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.

Lanes reopened just after 7:30 a.m., but “tough delays” remained for a while on the outer loop and I-85 South, the Traffic Center reported.
