The city of Sandy Spring marked nine years of incorporation Monday with an online makeover.

The city has reengineered its website, with a homepage they say now reflects more views of local people and places. Navigation now focuses on information frequently requested by residents, visitors and the business community, city officials said.

The site also maps road improvement projects and parks and provides cross-information on topics.

City officials have also launched a mobile app, Sandy Springs Works, giving residents a tool for reporting problems directly to city staff.
