Riverdale police investigating Saturday morning homicide
Riverdale police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Saturday morning.
According to police at 6:53 a.m. Saturday a man was shot and killed near one of the apartment buildings at the Villages on The River Apartments, 6711 Church St.
The man was shot one time, police said. He was identified by Channel 2 Action News as Edward Allen Buford, a 24-year-old father of two.
The shooting is currently under investigation.
