DeKalb County police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead Tuesday evening, authorities said.

The 20-year-old was found shot inside an apartment in the 4300 block of Glenwood Drive around 6:35 p.m., DeKalb police spokeswoman Michaela Vincent said.

The man, whose identity hasn’t been released, died from his injuries at a hospital, police confirmed.

Detectives believe the man knew his shooter, according to Vincent.
