Police investigating armed robbery of Clark Atlanta student

Atlanta police continue to investigate the armed robbery of a Clark Atlanta University student in the campus neighborhood last week.

Dabrianna Milton was robbed of an iPhone 6, an iPad2, a Louis Vuitton purse, credit and debit cards and $300 cash, according to the Morehouse College police, which has worked on the case with Atlanta police and Clark Atlanta police.

Milton was robbed Feb. 25 at about 8:30 p.m. on Beckwith Street while she walked alone from Brawley Hall to Moss Suites.

She said the suspect approached her from behind and carried a medium-sized handgun which he pointed at her face while telling her to drop everything. After robbing her, he fled.

Atlanta police deputy chief Joseph Spillane said Milton was not hurt.

He said the robbery does not appear to be part of any pattern of similar crimes in college areas.
