Plane skids off runway at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport
A plane Thursday afternoon skidded off the runway at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport and nearly hit a fence. However, there were no reported injuries.
“It is a small, single-engine Cirrus with one person on board,” DeKalb County fire Capt. Eric Jackson told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “It had some challenges landing.”
Mario Evans, the airport’s interim director, told Channel 2 Action News there was no damage to the aircraft or anything else.
