The City of Santa Claus's only visible building is the City Hall, the 204-resident town located 3 hours southeast of Atlanta. The Santa Claus City Hall, located at 25 December Street, stays decorated during Christmas and the inside all year.

One of the tasks during the holiday season from Sue Grisham, Santa Claus city's secretary, is to collect many Christmas letters from the mailbox ready to be stamped; the amount increases in the weeks leading up to the holiday: it is a hand stamp with the city logo.
