The Atlanta Falcons may not have had a winning season, but a 19-year-old Paulding County man is suddenly a big fan after winning $350,000 in a football-themed lottery game.
Justin Kennedy Jr., of Dallas, bought an Atlanta Falcons Player Payday instant ticket at the Coastal Food Mart on Merchants Drive in Dallas, Georgia Lottery officials said. Kennedy started shouting in the parking lot.
“I chose this ticket because I win something just about every time,” Kennedy said. “I scratched this ticket from the bottom to the top and saw the matching No. 9.”
Kennedy said he couldn’t contain his excitement at winning the top prize, which he plans to use to buy a house and a car, he said.
“Dude, I just won,” Kennedy. “I was too excited.”
