Tuesday conversation: Schools

One of the most contentious measures in the Legislature this year is a resolution about a high school course that only elite students take — AP U.S. History. A Senate Resolution passed last week contends the course takes too negative a look at America’s past. Today, both I and the sponsor of the resolution examine the matter. And readers take up another controversy in the news — the chanting frat brothers at the University of Oklahoma.
