The General Assembly has been debating bills to allow guns on college campuses and in churches. At deadline Thursday, the last day of the session, legislators still had not decided. Either way, the debate continues. Today, two Georgia Tech students argue the issue. One says that students with guns will help reduce crime, especially on urban campuses. The student body president writes that more weapons could lead to more deaths. A third column introduces a new parents’ group advocating sensible gun control.
