Crews to cut power to Alpharetta interchange

Sawnee EMC will temporarily cut power to the traffic signals at the Windward Parkway / Ga. 400 interchange Sunday morning for repair and maintenance work to electric power lines in that area. The company has not set a timetable for the repairs.

Alpharetta police officers will direct traffic in the affected area during the service interruption. However, motorists are encouraged to choose alternate travel routes Sunday morning to avoid the interchange if possible.
