The Atlanta Beltline gets a lot of coverage for its pedestrian and bike trail ringing the city. But the PATH Foundation has been building greenways and trails for decades. Today, PATH’s executive director pleads for more trail consideration north of I-285 as the Georgia Department of Transportation builds a new interchange with Ga. 400. (GDOT declined to write a column in response.) In our second piece, a highway safety leader cautions motorists over the coming holidays, as more drivers are expected to hit the roads due to lower gas prices.
