Many teachers were not happy with “Waiting for Superman,” a documentary by Academy Award winner Davis Guggenheim. They will probably like his new effort more. In “Teach,” he offers less politics and polemics. I write about the documentary and its teacher subjects today. A Duke professor also discusses teachers today — how to attract and retain good ones. Readers take up a different topic: what to do about schools named for historic figures who history has now judged to be less than admirable.
