One person killed in accident near Snellville

One person was killed Wednesday in a wreck near Snellville.

Details were scant, but Gwinnett police Cpl. Ed Ritter said officers were on the scene of a “single-vehicle rollover auto accident” on Highpoint Road at Chimney Ridge Drive.

A second person was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the 12:45 p.m. accident, Ritter said.
