JOHNSON, Troy
Troy J. Johnson, 93, of Tucker died at home of natural causes on November 1, 2021. He was born February 3, 1928, in Porterdale, GA, son of Tom C. and Willie (Rollins) Johnson.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 12:00PM in the Peachtree Corners Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory. Interment will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
After graduating from Newton County High School, Troy was stationed in Korea while serving in the 1st Infantry Regiment of the United States Army. Upon being honorably discharged, he attended the University of Georgia where he earned a Law Degree. Troy retired from the USF&G Insurance Companies in 1997 after a 44 year career.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Horace and Billy Johnson and his sister Helen Lumus. He is survived by his wife Betty (Lunsford) Johnson; sons Joe Johnson and his wife Pam of Roswell; Ken Johnson and his wife Kristine of Alpharetta; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
