Several cars of a Norfolk Southern freight train derailed in Henry County early Friday, authorities said.
The train derailed before 6 a.m. at the King Mill Road crossing between Ga. 155 and Ga. 42, just south of McDonough.
Henry County police Lt. Joey Smith said there were no injuries, and no other vehicles were involved.
Smith also said there were no hazardous material spills involved.
King Mill Road was expected to remain closed until midnight.
