A Norcross man now has time to consider how he’ll use a $2.5 million prize he won in seconds.
John Varnell Jr., 62, won the prize by playing the Georgia Lottery’s 21 Black Series instant game. He purchased his winning ticket from a ticket vending machine at a QuikTrip station in Suwanee.
Varnell told Georgia Lottery Corp. officials that he and his wife, Carol, plan to invest a portion of the winnings.
