Longtime "The Young and the Restless" star Kristoff St. John has died, according to multiple reports. He was 52.

St. John was found dead Sunday at his home in the San Fernando Valley, according to entertainment news site TMZ, the first outlet to report on the death.

"Sadly we can confirm," St. John's attorney, Mark Geragos, said in an email Monday morning to USA Today.

His cause of death was not immediately known, although TMZ reported that authorities do not suspect foul play was a factor.

His death comes five years after St. John and his ex-wife, professional boxer Mia St. John, lost their 24-year-old son to suicide. Julian St. John was undergoing treatment for mental illness at a facility in Long Beach, California, when he died, People reported in 2014. Kristoff and Mia St. John sued the facility where their son died and the case was later settled, according to TMZ.

St. John, who made his television debut in 1975 when he was 7 years old, joined the cast of CBS’s “The Young and the Restless” in 1991. He has won several Daytime Emmy Awards and NAACP Image Awards for his portrayal of Neil Winters on the long-running drama.

St. John is survived by two children: Paris and Lola.
