9-year-old injured from shark bite off Florida beach

A 9-year-old girl is recovering after a shark bite at Jacksonville Beach on Wednesday.
Jacksonville Beach Ocean Rescue said the incident happened just before 3:30 p.m. Wednesday near the area of 25th Avenue South.
The Jacksonville Beach Fire Department said the girl was bitten on her right leg at the knee.
The victim said she was in about 2 feet of water when she was attacked.
The Jacksonville Beach Police said she received several cuts and was taken to Wolfson Children's Hospital, which may have needed surgery.
