The divorce proceedings of oil billionaire Harold Hamm and Sue Ann Arnall have grabbed attention for months. That reached a new high this week when Arnall officially turned down a check for $974,790,317.77
A CNNMoney report says Arnall wants more, claiming his fortune was built during their nearly three-decade marriage.
Sue Ann is appealing, saying she deserves more but Hamm has filed an appeal of his own. The Continental Resources CEO laments the rapid drop in oil prices has cost him nearly half of his wealth.
The couple have two children. There was no pre-nuptial agreement.
