An interview on the Today Show came to an abrupt and awkward end after anchors asked her about her son.
The former vice-presidential candidate appeared on the show Monday morning in her first interview since endorsing Donald Trump.
Savannah Guthrie asked the former Alaska governor about her son, Track, who is an army veteran. He was recently arrested for domestic violence, just one day before Palin announced her endorsement.
Guthrie questioned if she regretted her comments she made last month, when she seemed to blame Track’s domestic violence on President Obama’s treatment of veterans who return home with post traumatic stress disorder.
That's when Palin angrily responded, "You guys brought me here to talk about Iowa politics and the caucus tonight, not to talk about my kids — and that was a promise. But as things go in the world of media, you don't keep your promises," said Palin.
Matt Lauer denied there was any agreement on questioning in the interview. It ended abruptly afterwards.
