Harbor Freight and the Consumer Product Safety Commission have announced a recall of the tool retailer's Gordon folding knives.

The lock that holds the blade in place may not engage and the knife blade could pose a laceration hazard.

About 1.1 million of the knives were sold in stores, online and over the phone from July 2008 to July 2019, the CPSC reported.

The stainless steel knife with a black handle is about 3 inches long and retailed for about $5.

For more information, call Harbor Freight Tools at 800-444-3353 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. PDT, Monday through Friday. You can also email the company or visit Harbor Freight's recall and safety information page.
