A family in Pasco County woke up to a surprise in their backyard Monday morning, WFLA reports.

The owners of a home on Roxbury Drive in Holiday, Fla., called 911 after observing their swimming pool pop up from the ground. They could hear cracking noises coming from the pool as it started to rise.

A building inspector said the home was secure except for the porch and called the situation a “popped pool.” Heavy rainfall could be an explanation for the incident and some areas in Pasco county were under evacuation on Monday.
