Mother charged after 4-year-old girl's body found in trash bin

A Florida woman has been arrested and charged with killing her 4-year-old daughter and putting her body in a dumpster.

A man throwing away garbage Sunday afternoon at the Tuscany Place Apartments in Miami-Dade County discovered her body and called police, according to the Miami Herald.

On Monday, Tina M. Farrington, 31, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and domestic violence for the death of her daughter, Tania Paige. She was booked into the Miami-Dade jail.

The dumpster was placed on a flatbed truck and hauled away.
