Mother bear leaps into action when her cubs go over the falls

The camera was rolling at Katmai National Park in Alaska when a momma bear named Grazer looked on as her three curious cubs went over Brooks Falls, a spot the bears normally stake out to catch salmon.

After the second cub went over the falls, Grazer sprinted out to collect them.

That’s when the third cub went over the edge.

The rescue video had the uploader nominating Grazer for a “Mother of the Year” award when it was posted Aug. 9.
