Nestlé USA says it plans to remove artificial flavors from its frozen pizza and snacks by the end of the year.
The changes will impact more than 250 products across six brands in the United States: DiGiorno®, Tombstone®, California Pizza Kitchen®, Jack's®, Hot Pockets® and Lean Pockets®.
Nestlé says it will also reduce sodium by 10 percent in the pizzas and snacks, compared to 2013 levels.
The company says the changes build on its ongoing efforts to improve the nutritional profile of its products while maintaining the taste.
