A former Ole Miss football player was killed in a car crash on Highway 78 near Holly Springs, Mississippi Saturday.
Maikhail Miller, 23, who played quarterback, died in the accident, according to the Marshall County Coroner's Office.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
Hugh Freeze, coach at Ole Miss, shared his condolences on Twitter.
"Reminded how short life can be tonight," he posted. "So sorry to hear of Maikhail Miller's death. Prayers to his family. What are we doing with our dash?"
Miller also played for Murray State.
