Ewan McGregor confirmed that he will be returning as Obi-Wan Kenobi in a new series for Disney+.

LucasFilm producer, Kathleen Kennedy brought McGregor to confirm to the crowd at Disney's D-23 convention in Anaheim, California. McGregor responded with a "yes" when she asked him if he will be reprising the role.

The yet-to-be-named series would start filming next year, according to Kennedy.

McGregor appeared in the "Star Wars" prequels “The Phantom Menace,” “Attack of the Clones,” and “Revenge of the Sith.”
