Football season has finally started, and Rocky the Mountain Lion, of the NBA's Denver Nuggets, is apparently ready for it.

As seen in this Vine from Brian Floyd, the mascot looks to be covering a return when he levels a young ball handler on the sidelines.

As if that wasn't enough, the mascot even taunts the young player.
